 Latest draw to be held by Alberta – on March 18 – is the fourth draw in a row by Alberta inviting candidates with CRS as low as 300. In the draw, held under the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program [AINP], 136 candidates were invited through the Alberta Express Entry Stream.
Details of the draw were recently released by the AINP. 
With this draw, so far in 2020, Alberta has sent out 887 invitations to Express Entry candidates. The candidates selected in a draw held by a province or territory are sent an invitation or notification for applying for a provincial nomination for Canada PR. 
In 2019, Alberta invited a total of 11,137 candidates through the Alberta Express Entry Stream. 
The candidates invited in the March 18 draw had – a profile in the federal Express Entry pool, and a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System [CRS] score of at least 300. 
A job offer is not required in order to be considered for being invited through the Alberta Express Entry Stream. 
As eligibility for Alberta Express Entry Stream, the candidate must be working in any of the occupations that are considered to support Alberta’s “economic development and diversification priorities”. 
As such, the AINP does not provide any list of occupations that are eligible. 
Though a job offer is not required to be eligible for the Alberta Express Entry Stream, AINP has laid down that priority will be given to candidates that have either –
