The University of Bristol is a research university in Bristol, England. It received its royal charter in 1909. 

It has six academic faculties comprising multiple schools and departments that offer more than 200 undergraduate courses. Campuses of the University of Bristol

The University of Bristol has two campuses, which are Clifton and Langford. There are more than 208 buildings for educational, sports, and administrative functions.

  • The Faculty of Arts and life sciences building is housed in the Clifton Campus. Moreover, the campus in three study centers houses 3,000 study spaces. This campus has cutting–edge computer labs and also is home to eight out of the nine libraries of the university.
  • The libraries of the university host the largest collection of books and journals in the entire South West England region.
  • The Langford Campus comprises UG and PG departments, besides academic buildings. Bristol Veterinary School is within this campus.
  • The Richmond building at the Clifton campus has theaters, swimming pools, café-bars, and dance studios for the recreation and relaxation of the students.

University of Bristol Residence

The university offers in its 36 residential halls on-campus accommodation for UG as well as PG students. The housing is separate for UG and PG students.

  • Three types of rooms are available to the students: studio, standard, and en suite.
  • Facilities in accommodation include laundry rooms, library, sports facilities, study rooms, and a common hall
  • While accommodation is guaranteed on campus for UG students, the University of Bristol offers a limited number of slots for PG students.

Scholarships at the University of Bristol

Financial assistance at the University of Bristol is offered through scholarships, contributions, and loans to the UG and PG international students. Scholarships for international students are available at the university for up to £1,000,000. Besides, students can apply for external scholarships that the UK offers.
