IRCC sends Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to candidates with the highest points. The number of ITAs issued however, depends on the Annual Immigration Level.

FSTP

The Federal Skilled Trades Program offers experienced tradespeople to work and settle in Canada. Tradesperson with professional work experience in constructions, maintenance, HVAC, agriculture, cooking, bakery, plumbing and manufacturing works can obtain Canada PR visa through this program. FSTP offers great opportunity for tradesperson to permanently live in Canadian provinces like Manitoba, British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Ontario.

Canada Immigration through PNP without a job offer

The Canadian Provincial Nominee Program holds draws to invite migrants to settle in different Canadian provinces. Provinces and territories nominate eligible candidates for a Canadian Permanent Residency.

Language proficiency tests are one of the important factors while immigrating to Canada.  You get points based on factors like work experience, age, education and language proficiency while immigrating to Canada via any of the points-based system. Under the Express Entry program, you can get a maximum of 28 points if you have a language proficiency score equivalent to CLB 7.

While language proficiency tests are a must in Canada immigration, IELTS is not the mandatory language test for migrating to Canada. You can also apply for the CELPIP or PTE core tests while applying for Canada Permanent Residency or citizenship applications. What is PTE Core test?

The Pearson Test of English (PTE) core test is a computerized English proficiency test which evaluates your English speaking, reading, writing and listening skills. The test can be scheduled on any date as per your preference.  The test results are likely to be announced within two days.

The PTE core test makes use of the Canadian language Benchmarks to assess your proficiency in English. Your performance is evaluated through AI as well as human expert scores to avoid bias or technical errors.

Requirements for a Canada PR

The individual applying must have the following to be selected for a Canada PR

• In the Canada CRS Grid, they must obtain around 67 points
• The individual must be below the age of 40 years
• The individual must have a solid IELTS / PTE Score
• Educational Credential Assessment
• Provide evidence of funds
• Optionally, the individual may also provide a job offer in Canada

Eligibility Criteria for a Canada PR

While applying for a Canada PR visa, individuals must meet the following criteria-

• Age—The individuals must be between 18 and 35 to be preferred and awarded the maximum points.
• Education—The individual's education qualification must be equal to or above the higher secondary education in Canada.
• Work experience—To apply for a Canada PR, the individual must have at least one year of work experience.
