Yes. Fluency is not the same as cultural fluency. The programme is about the unwritten rules around the words — how direct to be with a manager, when silence reads as disagreement, what a dress code implies, how to disagree without seeming rude. Strong English speakers are the ones most often caught out, because everyone assumes they already know.
Global Culture Ready covers 10 essential cultural aspects relevant to people moving to different countries for study or work. It focuses on common cultural expectations, communication styles, social conduct, and workplace or academic behaviour across global destinations. The program builds a strong foundation for adapting to a new cultural environment, helping you feel more confident and prepared wherever your journey takes you.
Personal presence, everyday communication, social behaviour, dining etiquette, public conduct, shared living, workplace communication and hierarchy, academic integrity, and the situational judgement that ties them together — the areas where small misreadings do the most damage in your first months.
Each essential is a short, self-contained session, so most people finish comfortably in a week or two at their own pace. Ideally, start as soon as your visa is approved and finish before you land in your destination country — the whole point is to learn these rules before your first impression, first lecture and first team meeting, not after.
The curriculum is the same across all levels; only the learning format differs. Level 1 offers self-paced learning through a slide deck, while Level 2 provides self-paced video learning. Levels 3 and 4 include tutor availability during the video sessions — the tutor facilitates the session and is available to answer questions and clarify doubts after the videos.
