Australian government to double the issuance of parent and skilled visas with increased budgets

The Australian government announced extra budgets to double the number of Parents and Skilled visas.

Around $36.1 million in extra funds are invested to hire staff to bring down the processing times and avoid backlogs.

The number of skilled visas increased from 76,600 to 142,400 and the Parent visas from 4,500 to 8,500 for this FY year.
