Five changes to be made by Germany to fill vacancies
Opportunity Card for job seekers: As per the new rule, Germany will be introducing a new “opportunity card” with a points-based system that will take professional experience, qualification, age, language skills, and connection to Germany into account.
Make the EU Blue Card more accessible: The EU Blue Card can now be accessed by a higher number of specialists holding a university degree.
Scrap the need for formal recognition of university degrees: The new law will not include complex procedures for formal recognition of their degree and professional qualification for the third country citizens who want to move to Germany to work in their field of expertise.
Let workers get professional qualifications recognised after arriving: The German government wants to make the process possible for migrants who wish to have their foreign professional qualifications recognized in the country.
Allow short-term employment: To meet temporary needs, the government wants to let employers higher people from outside Germany for short-term periods.
