Croatia observed a high number of visitors in 2022. The number of arrivals was 91 percent while the overnight stays were 96 percent in comparison to 2019. eVisitor System has reported that from January to August 2022, 15 million tourists arrived in Croatia. The have spent 86.6 million nights in the country.
The number of arrivals in August was 4.6 million and overnight stays went up to 32 million. The number of arrivals was increased by 6 percent and overnight stays by 4 percent in comparison to 2021. In comparison to July 2019, arrivals in 2022 were 92 percent and overnight stays was 97 percent.

Ministry of Tourism and Sports reported that there was an increase of 40 percent arrivals and 27 percent overnight stays in comparison to 2021. Kristjan Stanicic, the director of Croatian Tourist Board has revealed that tourism has reached up to 96 percent of the pre-pandemic levels. In some destinations, the number of overnight stays exceeded in comparison to 2019.
