• STEP 1: Post your resume - To enable us to process your application you will need to sign up as a nurse and post your resume. Your resume will then be stored in our central database. You will then come up in searches conducted by hospitals and recruiters and you will be accessible to our placement division. It is to let us, the hospitals and placement agencies aware that you are available for an assignment.
  When you initially just sign up and post your resume you are a BASIC MEMBER of Y-Axis.

• STEP 2: Premium Membership -  To market yourself aggressively we very strongly suggest you consider becoming a Premium Member. Basic members contact details are hidden when a hospital conducts a search on Y-Axis. If you are a basic member and a hospital or nursing home thinks you even remotely meet the profile they want, they need to pay us for your contact details. The process is long & complicated. 
  
  If you are a Premium Member, they will contact you directly. Hospitals, nursing homes & recruiters automatically single out the Premium Members because it saves them time, effort and money. Premium Membership buys you high visibility. If you are a Basic Member the potential employer will have to pay to view your contact details, but if you are a premium member, your e-mail contact is visible enabling the potential employer to contact you immediately.

• STEP 3: Make a career decision - As a nurse you will need to make a career decision. Where you are looking to relocate to? Where would you like to work? 
  Is it going to be the US? This would involve the CGFNS, TOEFL, NCLEX. Each exam involves an investment in terms of fees and training. These are not refundable. 
  You need to decide on whether you are going on a employment visa or a green card. 
  
  Is it going to be the UK? Though this does involve exams, you would need to be registered with the NMC. The process is much quicker than the US process. There is a fee for NMC registration which is not refundable.
